This sausage is made under continuous USDA inspection from selected lean pork and is seasoned with Sunset Farm Foods' exclusive blend of spices. Computerized thermostatic controllers are used during the smoking process of this fully cooked product for consistent quality every time. Uses and Menu VersatilityPure Pork Smoked Sausage can be sliced and speared with a toothpick and served as an hors d'oeuvre or appetizer. Serve whole or cut laterally as an entree, as ingredients in stew or red beans with potatoes or rice. Stir-fry with bell peppers and onions in a sub. For a rich, flavorful meat loaf, remove sausage from casing and mix sausage pieces with ground beef before cooking. Place whole in a bun for great sausage dogs. Crumble and add to pizza. Simplest of all, warm up on the grill and enjoy! Preparation TechniquesThis product is fully cooked and need only be brought to serving temperature.
